Bec supports people of all ages to help them feel safe, connected and understand themselves and
their world around them, after difficult experiences. Bec uses a range of evidence based and innovative approaches in her therapy such as:

Bec specialises in supporting people who are struggling with:
* Family Violence Trauma, Sexual Assault, Attachment Trauma and traumatic life experiences.
* Low self-worth, PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, OCD
* Relational conflict, bullying, family breakdowns

Fees and Rebates:

* Mental Health Treatment Plan: 50 minute sessions. In Clinic fee is $132.30 with a $82.30 rebate with an eligible MHTP, for up to 10 sessions per year. You will need to make an appointment with your GP before your first session (ask the receptionist if this needs to be a double appointment to complete the MHTP).

* NDIS (as a non-registered provider). 60 minute sessions: NDIS support item: #15_056_0128_1_3 – Counselling:

* Agency Funded: $210

Appointment Details: You will receive a confirmation email with your appointment information and clinic address upon booking (check your junk folder if you haven’t received it).

Confidentiality and Privacy.

All information provided to Beacon Innovative Solutions is strictly confidential in accordance with AASW guidelines.
Confidentiality ensures that all personal information gathered remains confidential, unless; it has
been subpoenaed or authorised by law; you or another person is at risk; your prior approval has
been obtained. Medicare Better Access also requires that social workers to write a brief report to
your referring GP throughout the course of treatment.
Privacy ensures that all personal information is confidential and stored securely for the duration
that the information is required to be kept on file.

TRAINING

Identifying and Healing Trauma Training
Offers professionals an understanding of how trauma effects people’s brains, especially children,
who are extremely vulnerable to maladaptive neurobiological changes, when their capacity to cope is overwhelmed.
This training aims to:
Build Capacity in Professionals to manage children/young people with trauma, additional needs and challenging behaviours.
 Increase understanding of the neurobiology of trauma and the nervous system needs of children/young people with additional needs.
 Increase capacity & confidence to manage challenging behaviours.
 Increase connective, attuned interactions between children/young people & professionals.
 Establish an understanding of underlying causes/reasons for behaviour.
 Assess professional well-being & learn strategies to increase sustainability and positive mental health.
Training packages can also be created to support professionals to understand the impact of sexual
assault, child sexual exploitation and working with at risk young people.

 

CONSULTING

Onsite, real time observations, coaching and recommendations to support professionals and
teachers create safe, predicable and caring environments and relationships for people who have
experienced trauma.

 

SUPERVISION

Clinical supervision for social workers or other professionals who are wanting critical reflective
supervision. This counts as credits towards the AASW 10 required hours of supervision within your CDP.
